Significance of Value Education

Value education has
great significance for an individual, family, society and country.
वैल्यू एजूकेशन का व्यक्ति, परिवार, समाज
और देश के लिए बड़ा महत्व है।

First, we will talk about the objectives of value education. The objectives
of value education tell us how big a role a value education plays in
personality development. Some of the main objectives of value
education are as follows:
सबसे पहले हम वैल्यू एजूकेशन
के उद्देश्यों की बात करेंगे। वैल्यू एजूकेशन के उद्देश्य हमें बताते हैं कि
व्यक्तित्व विकास में इसकी कितनी बड़ी भूमिका है। वैल्यू एजूकेशन के कुछ प्रमुख
उद्देश्य ये हैं-
1. Full
development of child’s personality in its physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual aspects.
शारीरिक, मानसिक, भावनात्मक
और आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से बच्चे के व्यक्तित्व का पूर्ण विकास।
2. Inculcation
of good manners and of responsible and cooperative citizenship.
अच्छे शिष्टाचार और
जिम्मेदार व सहयोगी नागरिकता को बढ़ावा देना।
3. Developing
respect for the dignity of individual and society.
व्यक्ति की गरिमा और समाज के लिए सम्मान विकसित करना।
4. Inculcation
of spirit of patriotism and national integration.
देशभक्ति व राष्ट्रीय एकता
की भावना को बढ़ावा देना।
5. Developing
a democratic way of thinking and living.
सोच और जीने का लोकतांत्रिक
तरीका विकसित करना।
6. Developing
tolerance towards and understanding of different religious faiths.
विभिन्न धार्मिक विश्वासों
के प्रति सहिष्णुता व समझ विकसित करना।
7. Developing
sense of brotherhood at social, national and international levels.
सामाजिक, राष्ट्रीय
और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भाईचारे की भावना को विकसित करना।
8. Enable pupils
to make decisions on the basis of sound moral principles.
विद्यार्थियों को ठोस नैतिक
सिद्धांतों के आधार पर निर्णय लेने के लिए सक्षम बनाना।
9. Helping
pupils to have faith in themselves and in some superpowers that is supposed to
control this universe and human life.
विद्यार्थियों को स्वयं पर
और इस ब्रह्मांड व मानव जीवन को नियंत्रित करने वाली महाशक्तियों में विश्वास करने
में मदद करना।

Value education is
such a concept which refines human behaviour which gives us Truth, Love,
Beauty, Self-control, Respect to all, Dignity of labour etc.
वैल्यू एजूकेशन एक ऐसी
अवधारणा है जो मानव व्यवहार को परिष्कृत करती है जो हमें सत्य, प्रेम, सौंदर्य, आत्म-नियंत्रण, सभी का सम्मान, श्रम की गरिमा आदि प्रदान
करती है।

Value based
education gives wisdom. Morality and spiritualism are the essential components
of wisdom. Education is the penance to all evils. Values are essential in all
fields of education, religion, politics and society.
मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा ज्ञान
देती है। नैतिकता और आध्यात्मिकता, ज्ञान के अनिवार्य घटक हैं। शिक्षा सभी
बुराइयों का प्रायश्चित है। वैल्यू यानी मूल्यों की हमें शिक्षा, धर्म, राजनीति और समाज के सभी
क्षेत्रों में जरूरत होती है।

For restructuring
of society and nation we require-
1- Value based politics
2- Value based socialization and economic processes
समाज व राष्ट्र के पुनर्गठन को
हमें आवश्यकता है-
1- मूल्य
आधारित राजनीति की और
2- मूल्य
आधारित समाजीकरण और आर्थिक प्रक्रिया
But we
are living in such a society where politics are floating with inhuman nature
without any ethics and science. This results in outcome of meaningless work,
characterless education, trade without any honesty, and even worship without
sacrifice.
लेकिन हम ऐसे समाज में रह
रहे हैं जहां राजनीति बिना किसी नैतिकता और विज्ञान के अमानवीय प्रकृति के साथ तैर
रही है। इसके हमारे सामने बेमतलब के कार्य,
चरित्रहीन शिक्षा, बिना ईमानदारी के व्यापार और
यहां तक कि त्याग के बिना पूजा जैसे परिणाम सामने आते हैं।

The entire
socialization process is badly affected by these odd behaviours. For example-
इन खराब व्यवहारों से
संपूर्ण समाजीकरण प्रक्रिया बुरी तरह प्रभावित होती है। उदाहरण के लिए-
1- Science has lost its temper for well being of human
विज्ञान ने मानव के कल्याण
के लिए अपना आपा खो दिया है।
2- Politics are done for personal gains
राजनीति, व्यक्तिगत लाभ के
लिए की जाती है।
3- Trade becomes a cheating process to exploit the
customers.
ग्राहकों का शोषण करने को
व्यापार एक धोखे वाली प्रक्रिया बन जाती है।
4- Today’s education has become a process for acquiring a
degree for professional purposes. Sometimes it loses path for making human
resource.
आज की शिक्षा पेशेवर
उद्देश्यों के लिए एक डिग्री प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया बन गई है। कभी-कभी यह मानव
संसाधन बनाने के लिए अपने रास्ते से भटक जाती है।
5- Religion becomes a tool for personal benefit.
धर्म व्यक्तिगत लाभ का साधन
बन जाता है।

Modern age of
science and technology has created many evils, violence, immorality, egoism,
self-centeredness, frustration are rampant everywhere. The world has already
experienced the horrors of modern wars during World War First and World War
Second.
विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी के
आधुनिक युग ने कई बुराइयों को जन्म दिया है,
हिंसा,
अनैतिकता,
अहंकार,
आत्म-केंद्रितता, निराशा हर जगह व्याप्त है।
विश्व पहले पहले ही प्रथम विश्व युद्ध और द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के दौरान आधुनिक
युद्धों की भयावहता का अनुभव कर चुका है।

In the midst of
material property, a large section of humanity is under the grip of immorality,
poverty and corruption. Such unsatisfactory situations have been arisen due to
crisis of values.
भौतिक संपत्ति के बीच, मानवता का एक बड़ा वर्ग
अनैतिकता, गरीबी
और भ्रष्टाचार की चपेट में है। मूल्यों के संकट के कारण ऐसी असंतोषजनक स्थितियाँ
पैदा हुई हैं।

All these evil
processes lead to destruction of human race. To overcome all these odds we must
give stress on value education. Therefore, in today's time, the importance and
necessity of value education is very high.
इन सभी बुरी प्रक्रियाएं
मानव जाति को विनाश की ओर ले जाती हैं। इन सभी बाधाओं को दूर करने के लिए हमें
मूल्य शिक्षा पर जोर देना चाहिए। इसलिए आज के समय में वैल्यू एजूकेशन का महत्व और
आवश्यकता बहुत ज्यादा है।

About Indian
education system the educationists say that we are providing education only to
the mind and not for character. As a result average Indians have little
character and no discipline. If they are to build a nation they must learn
both.
भारतीय शिक्षा प्रणाली के
बारे में शिक्षाविदों का कहना है कि हम केवल दिमाग के लिए शिक्षा प्रदान कर रहे
हैं, चरित्र
के लिए नहीं। परिणामस्वरूप औसत भारतीयों का चरित्र बहुत कम होता है और कोई अनुशासन
नहीं होता। यदि वे एक राष्ट्र का निर्माण करते हैं, तो उन्हें दोनों को सीखना
चाहिए।

Today value
education is specially needed for the youth. Youth can play a pivotal role in
nation building. It is said that youth is the backbone of nation.
आज युवाओं के लिए मूल्य
शिक्षा की विशेष आवश्यकता है। युवा राष्ट्र निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा
सकते हैं। कहा जाता है कि युवा राष्ट्र की रीढ़ होते हैं।

With the spirit of
value education person can effectively take part in developmental process. With
this acquired potentialities a youth can continue his nation building
activities till to the last day of life.
मूल्यपरक शिक्षा की भावना के
साथ व्यक्ति विकास प्रक्रिया में प्रभावी रूप से भाग ले सकता है। इस प्राप्त की गई
क्षमता के साथ एक युवा जीवन के अंतिम दिन तक अपनी राष्ट्र निर्माण गतिविधियों को
जारी रख सकता है।

So value education
is very much
significant for rebuilding the nation. Value education is not only necessary
for social development and nation building, but it is also very important for
one's own personal development.
इसलिए राष्ट्र के
पुनर्निर्माण के लिए वैल्यू एजूकेशन बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं। वैल्यू एजूकेशन न केवल सामाजिक
विकास और राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए जरूरी है बल्कि स्वयं के व्यक्तिगत विकास के लिए भी
यह बहुत जरूरी है।
