Jargon are special words and phrases that are used by particular groups of people, especially in their work.

So Jargon is occupation-specific language used by people in a given profession.

It is the 'shorthand' that people in the same profession use to communicate with each other. 

For example, in journalism, many words like byline, intro, lead, followup, flyer, printline, P2C are used among journalists.

In the same way, plumbers might use terms such as elbow, ABS, sweating the pipes, reducer, flapper, snake, and rough-in. 

Jargon exists in just about every occupation: medicine, law, marketing, banking, insurance, education, engineering, farming, auto repair, construction, trades, and more.

जारगॉन या शब्दजाल विशेष शब्द और वाक्यांश हैं जिनका उपयोग लोगों के विशेष समूहों द्वारा, विशेषकर उनके कामकाज के दौरान किया जाता है।

यानी जारगॉन किसी व्यवसाय विशेष की भाषा है जिसका उपयोग उस व्यवसाय में काम कर रहे लोगों द्वारा किया जाता है।

यह एक प्रकार का 'शॉर्टहैंड' है जिसका उपयोग एक ही पेशे के लोग एक-दूसरे से संवाद करने के लिए करते हैं।

उदाहरण के लिए पत्रकारिता में पत्रकारों के बीच बाइलाइन, इंट्रो, लीड, फॉलोअप, प्लायर, प्रिंटलाइन, पीटूसी जैसे अनेक शब्दों का प्रयोग किया जाता है। 

उसी तरह, प्लंबर एल्बो, एबीएस, स्वेटिंग द पाइप्स, रेड्यूसर, फ्लैपर, स्नेक और रफ-इन जैसे शब्दों का उपयोग कर सकते हैं।

शब्दजाल लगभग हर व्यवसाय में मौजूद है जैसे चिकित्सा, कानून, मार्केटिंग, बैंकिंग, बीमा, शिक्षा, इंजीनियरिंग, खेती, ऑटो रिपेयर, निर्माण, व्यापार में।
